Reasons why we sail.

For years, we dreamed about sailing around the world, living a life of freedom, discovery and adventure far away from our rushed routine. We wanted to live for the moment, to embrace the unexpected and to seek new experiences in the warm, tropical, uncluttered corners of the world. We wanted to discover new places, meet new people, learn about new cultures, enjoy the wind, the sea and to enjoy our trusted yacht Vagabund. 

We are about to leave behind everything and everyone we cherish. This is a big step. This is no longer a theoretical equation. It is real. We are finally about to break with land. The ocean wide future of which we have dreamed for so many years is suddenly now. 

We are going to go and experience outwardly the things God has planted inside our hearts. The things that He whispers to us… the hopes, the dreams, the promises He gave us…. We fully trust that God’s plan for our lives will be accomplished in us and through us (Lev 25:4-17).
